Many of the issues couples come to see me with are usually at least in part caused by difficulty in communicating, which can lead to a vicious cycle—as the problems become more severe, communication breaks down further, leading to more problems, leading to more difficulty in communicating and on and on.
Couples counseling creates a safe place where both you and your partner can begin to get your needs and feelings across to each other without fear of being attacked or criticized.
