Group therapy is a useful option for anyone dealing with social issues. For the record, most psychological issues are social issues. Not only were we all raised in a group, i.e. our families, we continue to live and relate in various types of groups at work, at home, and/or with friends relatives, colleagues, etc. Learning how you can function and grow in the company of others in the setting of a therapy group is a powerful way to improve your relationships everywhere.
Group therapy is an effective "laboratory” in which you can explore and experiment with new approaches learned through individual therapy. In group therapy you can explore these with others who can offer you honest and helpful feedback so that you can stay on the most effective course to personal growth. |
Interpersonal Process Groups - Wednesday and Thursday Evenings
These groups are ideal for clients who want to learn how to express and share their feelings with and towards others, who are interested in connection. We work at exploring and learning about how to express all of our feelings, about ourselves and about the other, in a constructive and progressive way.
